Winchester Mod 1912, 20 Ga., 25" Modified, ~1923~

Description:
Winchester Model 1912 in 20Ga. manufactured at the famous Winchester Factory in New Haven, Conn. USA in 1923. The barrel is a factory 25" marked Nickel Steel and also marked MOD, however a Galazan Choke Guage indicates IC Choke. My Gunsmith has checkerd the chamber showing  23/4" which was probably opened at some point. The blue on the barrel is about 85% while the receiver has very little blue remaining at about 20%. The wood is good with no cracks however dings and scratches are prevalent. The wood around the pistol grip has darkened. The factory Winchester Logo butt plate is in good shape. The LOP is about 133/4".The serial numbers are matching - 36401.The action is smooth and tight and all functions correctly. The bore is clean and shiny.
