This Model 12 is in Excellent Condition and was built in 1948. It was originally built with a 30-inch barrel and a full choke. As it is now, it shows that it was modified (as was often the case in the post WWII era) with a Polychoke System. The former owner verified that this system functions very well when he shot trap with it. The forestock was replaced with an extended one that improves function but still matches the rest of the wood. The takedown function works well and is as tight as when it was made. This Model 12 can also slam fire if that is your desire. Some of these have been modified by a skilled cut down and crown to resemble a period riot gun. 12 Gauge
