Serial #636952, 12 Gauge (2 ¾"), 30 inch barrel with an excellent bore choked full. This is the Winchester Model 12 shotgun manufactured in 1931. The slide action shotgun is in very good overall condition with the metal surfaces retaining about 55-60% of the original blue finish with thinning on the barrel near the muzzle and breech and on the receiver with most of the finish loss on the magazine tube with scattered light scratches and use marks. The original walnut stock and forearm are solid showing numerous scratches and light contusions with other honest wear. The length of pull is 13 5/8" to an original Winchester hard rubber butt plate. Mechanically the gun functions properly just a bit stiff in the action. A great old Model 12 with many years of service left. FFL or C&R
