Winchester Model 12 Super Field Solid Rib
Description: Winchester M12 Deluxe Super Field / Special Field Grade with matted Solid Rib barrel. 12 Gauge, 2 3/4" chamber, 28" Full choke barrel. S/N 1746963 Mfg. 1959. Mechanical function and bore are excellent. Blue shows significant wear, especially at the carry point and on receiver which also shows several blotches of surface corrosion left side. The highly figured wood is gorgeous with some thinning and shallow grain checks in finish. There are no cracks, gouges or chips. These old M12s are truly the finest repeating shotgun ever created by man, and it takes very little imagination to see this one's potential as the near perfect platform for an exceptional restoration if done right, especially with some engraving.
