Extraordinary and mint true pair Winchester Model 21 Grand Americans with full documentation- 12ga and 20ga 2 barrel sets with special order features!
Description: This truly spectacular consecutively serial numbered pair of Model 21's, one a 12ga, and one a 20ga delivered in May of 1981 and believed to have been delivered to W. Ben Jackson with his initials embossed on each of the cases and canvas covers. Both guns are 2 barrel sets with 28" barrels, one set with WS-1 & WS-2 chokes and the second set being Mod. & Full. Both barrel sets have vent ribs and their own forends on both guns as seen in the photos. The Mod/Full barrels have 3" chambers, the skeet sets have 2-3/4" chambers. Blued actions are fantastically engraved and gold inlaid and the stocks are near perfect matches in quality and grain layout. Both guns are virtually indentical with identical engraving which was executed by Hank Bonham, and the B Carved stocks were done by John Durkin, according to a 2001 letter from Pauline Murrell which is included in the voluminous factory documentation paperwork on these guns. Both guns match the Cody Museum records exactly as found today including an incredible special order gold inlay on the bottom of the guns of the seal of the American President. These guns are unused and in mint factory original condition and match the Cody Firearms museum letters exactly as found today. Both guns come in their factory original leather cases with gold embossed initials "WBJ" on the top of the case with matching canvas covers that are also embossed "WBJ". These guns have not been offered for sale as a pair since their completion in 1981.
