What a beautiful Model 21 TWO BARREL SET IN A LEATHER CASE we present here, built in 1935. The Cody info sheet states the gun was built as a Trap Grade and returned to Winchester in 1944 and 1949 for a series of maintenance, repairs, and restoration.  The trip to the factory in 1949 does not have any info on what was done…just on record of being received for repairs.  The changes existent in this Model 21 could have occurred at the factory in 1949.  THE GUN IS GORGEOUS, USEFUL, AND DESIRABLE WITH THE HARD TO FIND 32” MAGNUM BARRELS (3” CHAMBERS) AND SECOND BARREL SET, BUT IS NOW MARKED AS A “DELUXE DUCK”, SO IT IS NOT A FACTORY ORIGINAL SET.  This Model 21 has been beautifully restored to historically correct finishes and shows as a new gun.  The wood is stunning, and with the two sets of barrels this is a very versatile set.  Most double gun enthusiasts are aware of the reputation of the Winchester Model 21; a gun of superior strength and mechanical genius created under management of John Olin himself.  Model 21 guns are fully capable of shooting the most powerful loads available, SO IF YOU LIKE MAGNUM LOADS FOR PHEASANTS, DUCKS, OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, THIS IS YOUR GUN.  From 1930 to 1940 Winchester had only built 3600 Model 21 guns, most of them being Standard Grades.  Only a few hundred or so were Trap Grade guns.  THIS PRE-WAR TWO-BARREL SET IS A RARE FIND!  Both sets of barrels are tight on the hinge pin and breech face like a new gun.  The mechanics are in excellent working order with strong ejectors and a single selective trigger that works just the way it should.  The gun is like new inside and out.  What a great find in a Model 21 in a gorgeous leather case ready for your shooting pleasures.  See the specifications below for important details regarding this Model 21.  These guns keep going up in value, so you are investing your money when you buy this gun!  Thanks for looking!
