Winchester Model 21 12 gauge. Serial 32825 (matching) has 28-inch barrels (IC/F, matted rib tapering to .305-inch at the muzzle, 2.75-inch, ejectors). Features include an automatic safety and a single select mechanical trigger. STOCK: The AAA-grade walnut is appointed with an ebony forend accent and wrap checkering with Mullered borders. The recoil pad has a added leather face. ENGRAVING: Both action and latch are engraved with medium scroll to approximately 40 percent coverage. The rib is engraved “Custom Built By Winchester For J. Gates Romer”. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.8 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.65 inches, drops are 1.6 and 2.0 inches, and cast off is approximately .35-inch. CONDITION: Bores are strong and bright, barrels on face and the ejectors propel empties with deadly force. Metal finish is at least 85 percent with trace thinning and a few light rubs. Wood is approximately 90 percent, with a modest scattering of light rubs and what appears to be an extra coat of oil superficially added to the butt. No case or papers.
