Winchester Model 21 12 gauge SKEET grade, 30" M/F

Description:
A very interesting Winchester Model 21 Skeet grade 12 gauge SxS shotgun.  Although it is a "SKEET" grade this gun was special ordered as a good looking (SKEET grade) field gun.  30" solid rib barrels choked Mod & Full and 2 3/4" chambers.  The original stock dimensions were very much "field" configuration.  Standard single selective trigger, automatic ejectors and NON-AUTOMATIC safety.

Now this gun is perfectly set-up for vintage SxS sporting clays shooting.  A new stock and beavertail forearm with added to this gun sometime ago and the craftsmanship is excellent.  The buttstock is a Monte Carlo style with a right-hand shooter cheek piece.  14 5/8" LOP over a Kick-Eez sporting clays recoil pad. 1 1/2" DAC; 1 5/8" Drop at Monte Carlo and 2 1/8" DAH with neutral cast.  The beavertail forearm is quite similar to a factory beavertail and it has an ebony inlay near the front.  The wood itself is hansomely grained Walnut and finished in a caramel color with contrasting, dark grain.

Note:  the left bore is .736" with choke constriction of .016" (modified) and minimum wall thicknesses of .031
           the right bore is .731" bore with choke constriction of .030" (full) and minimum wall thickness of .035"
           and there is a "ring" in the left bore 13 1/2" from the breech.  Faint but noticeable.
           well in proof and safe to shoot.

The metal has been properly reblued and the entire gun retains 98% finishes since restoration.

Weighs 7 lbs 14 oz.  Mechanically excellent.  Shipped in 1947
