Most double gun enthusiasts are well aware of the reputation earned by the Winchester Model 21; a gun of far superior strength and mechanical genius that was under the micro management of John Olin himself. With only 32,000 produced (compared to 250,000 Parkers!), any high condition Model 21 is a valuable, investment quality firearm sure to appreciate as you enjoy its use. From 1930 to 1980  they only made about 2900 20 gauge guns in all grades, most of them Standard Grades or Skeet Grades.  ONLY 123 MAGNUM 20GA. GUNS WERE EVER MADE, MAKING THIS A RARE GUN RARELY ENCOUNTERED.  This Model 21, sn27789 made in 1954, is quite a find in that it has not been altered from the specifications in the factory letter that accompanies the gun.  Shipped with 28" barrels choked M/F, with mirror bores, tight ribs, and factory 3" chambers, pistol grip stock with 14 1/16" LOP, 2 1/2" drop at heel, 1 5/8" drop at the nose of the comb, neutral cast, nicely figured, and a very trim forend that appears to be the Hessian style forend.  The barrels are tight on breech face and hinge pin with the lever right of center.  What a great pheasant gun for the prairies when they are flushing at the edge of range.  How about ducks with a 20 gauge?   What other vintage double can you shoot true magnum loads without fear of damaging the gun???  The receiver and barrels are restored to factory quality 99%, with perfect screws and wood to metal fit.  The wood shows some wear with no cracks or serious marks.  If you want the wood to look new we can do that for you within 6 weeks of purchase at an added cost.  Scour the internet and you will not find another.  Don't miss this opportunity to own a M21 3" Magnum with factory documentation.  What a great and useful investment vessel.
