SALE PENDING; This is a very fine and high condition original Winchester Model 21 DUCK with 32" barrels, a matted raised rib, and choked full & full. The length of pull is 13-5/8" from the single-selective trigger to a factory installed Winchester solid red rubber recoil pad. The drop at the comb is 1-1/2" and the drop at the heel is 2-3/8". The wood is nicely figured walnut that has the early kidney-pattern on the beavertail, Trap style, 11" forend with the factory brace, a pistol grip stock and very well done hand checkering. There is an automatic safety on the top tang. The weight of the gun is 7 lbs, 9 oz. According to the book "Winchester's Finest The Model 21" the gun was made in 1948. There is at least 98% original blue on the frame and 99.5% blue on the barrels with just ever so slight wear on trigger guard tang. It does have the typical Model 21 flaking on the trigger floor plate. The bores are bright and shiny. The ejectors work flawlessly. This gun has been used sparingly and well taken care of. It is one of the best Model 21 Ducks out there and it has been in the same family since its purchase new and until its change of ownership to you.
