Winchester model 21 16ga.skeet grade.Built in 1937 according to the factory letter,this gun has 26" barrels choked WS-1 and WS-2.It has a straight grip stock,a single selective trigger,ejectors,and a beavertail forend.All of these features are correct according to the Winchestter product code listed in the letter.This gun is in original condition with all roll marks sharp and crisp.All screw heads are clean and timed.The wood to metal fit is correct with the wood slightly proud of the metal.I have had questions about the buttplate.Skeet guns could be ordered with a Winchester pad,a checkered butt,or a buttplate.Since the letter states that this gun was built for stock,I am sure that the gun left the factory with this buttplate.It is fitted perfectly.The gun retains 99% blue and wood finish and weighs 6-12.This is a great model 21 in collector condition.C&R eligible.
