Winchester model 23 20 gauge w/Winchokes

Winchester model 23 XTR Pigeon grade 20 gauge SxS shotgun.  The 25 ½” vent rib barrels are factory fitted with Winchokes which was only offered in the last year production of 1986 and they are chambered for 2 ¾” & 3” shells.  The two choke tubes that come with the gun are Skeet & Modified; other chokes are readily available. This great bird gun comes with single selective trigger, automatic safety and selective automatic ejectors.  The handsomely grained walnut round knob pistol grip stock has a 14” LOP over the factory ½” solid black recoil pad; 1 ½” DAC and 2 ½” DAH with a slight cast for a right hand shooter.  The beavertail forearm matches the stock perfectly.  The Pigeon grade receiver has the standard floral engraved finished in a flawless coin finish.  The overall finish of this gun is excellent at 98%+ and the deduction is for a small “ding” in the bottom of the forearm (see photo) and the are a couple of pinpoint shallow marks in the left side of the buttstock.  The gun weighs 6 lbs. 15 oz. and balances nicely between the hands.  No case or box.
