Winchester Model 42 28" Full In The Box
Description:
Offered for sale is a rarely encountered Winchester Model 42 complete with its original factory box, manufactured in 1953. Finding a Model 42 in this level of condition is difficult enough—finding one with its original box is even more uncommon.
This shotgun features a factory 28-inch plain barrel choked Full. Both the metal and wood remain in excellent original condition, showing very little evidence of use. The only noticeable wear is a small area of finish wear on the side of the barrel where the forearm has rubbed during operation. Aside from this typical contact mark, the shotgun presents as exceptionally well preserved and could easily be mistaken for one that has seen little, if any, use.
The original blue finish remains outstanding, the walnut retains its beautiful factory appearance, and the mechanics are excellent.
