Description:
Manufactured in 1941, this pre-World War II Winchester Model 42 pump-action shotgun is chambered in .410 bore and remains one of the most desirable small-frame repeaters produced by Winchester. Built during the classic pre-war era of Winchester production, the Model 42 is widely regarded for its excellent craftsmanship, smooth action, and refined handling qualities. This example features a 3 inch chamber, a skeet choke configuration well suited for upland hunting or clay target shooting, and a 13 7/8 inch length of pull. Combining classic styling with the quality associated with early Winchester manufacture, this Model 42 represents an excellent example of one of the finest .410 pump shotguns ever produced.
Condition:
Very fine as professionally refinished with minor handling evidence, a few minor subsurface pits, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
