Winchester Model 42 .410 Skeet w/ Cutts

Description:
Winchester Model 42 pump-action shotgun in .410 bore. Roughly 26" barrel to the end of the after-market Cutts Compensator. The choke piece at the end of the comp is marked Lyman and 410-SPR. Simmons rib, but aftermarket, marked Simmons Gun Specialties, Kansas City, MO. Barrel is marked FULL, indicating the Cutts was aftermarket. No proof mark on the barrel, indicating the Simmons is aftermarket. Beautiful skeet-style stock with great wood grain. Stock ends in a Pachmayr White Line pad with LOP at 14". We do not believe the stock was original. The SN is 59013 putting putting the metal from 1947!

This is a very interesting gun that was lightly used and has literally all the bells and whistles. The bluing is amazing but very likely re-blued. The stock is excellent with only a few marks, shown in pics. The tip of the Cutts choke is damaged with a small flat spot, likely fixable by a gunsmith, or replaced entirely. This only came with 1 tip. See pics for all details.
