Winchester Model 42 Engraved Skeet Gun Circa 1936
Description:
An excellent condition pre war Winchester Model 42 skeet gun with vent rib barrel, 3 inch chamber, and Cutts Compensator. Gun is engraved in a No 5 style but looks to be non-factory engraving. Still a very nice model 42 and I've always said a Cutts is the greatest front sight ever devised for a shotgun. Hairline crack behind receiver does not seem to affect anything. Wood finish is original but stock has had a pad added. LOP is 13 inches. Nice clean customized gun - will make a great shooter.
