The Model 42 was the first pump action shotgun designed in .410 bore. The Model 42 was produced from 1933 to 1963 with more than 164,800 units produced and was called the scaled down Model 12 Winchester. This example was produced in 1937 according to the serial number. The blued barrel and receiver frame are good with approximately 70 per cent finish remaining on the surface pitted barrel and frame. The blued 28" barrel is good with a bright bore.
