VERY FINE FACTORY ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 97 BLACK DIAMOND PIGEON GUN 12 GAUGE

Description:
This gun features the typical trap shooting scene on one side of the receiver and a hunting scene on the other side. Marked on top of the receiver: 'Presented to W.B. Weidler by the members of the Buck Creek Hunting Club, 1907'. This inscription is in the Factory Letter as are all the other specifications on the gun. Overall gun has been used some but is in very nice cond with a 28" barrel, full choke, fine bore, matted rib. Original checkered deluxe grade Black Diamond wood is in very nice condition with a considerable amount of original varnish and the correct hard rubber buttplate. Overall metal retains a considerable amount of blue which is starting to thin on barrel and mag; the receiver retains about half the blue. Nice, clean, all original gun complete with Factory Letter.
