Description:
The Winchester Win-Lite Model M59 12 Gauge Semi-automatic Shotgun was manufactured from 1959 through 1965. A total of 82,085 were manufactured. The light weight was achieved by using a composite barrel construction and aluminum trigger housing and receiver frame. The barrel used an inner steel sleeve wound and bonded with fiberglass then bonded to the outer sleeve. The receiver frame and trigger housing are made of machined high strength aluminum making it very strong. The receiver is engraved with a pheasant hunting scene on the left and a duck hunting scene on the right. This example has a nice finish showing normal wear. 12 Gauge
