#21905, Winchester Model 21 in 20 Bore Deluxe Grade with 28" Barrels Made about 1948, Marked Deluxe, The bores and chokes at .615 .007 & .017" (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), Both chokes have been Eysterized by Mr. Jim Eyster from Centerburg, Ohio, They were tested at 25 & 30 yards with 90% efficiency, Original factory chokes marked Full & Full., 2 3/4" chambers, Single selective trigger, Splinter forend, Straight English stock at 14 1/2 x 1 9/16 x 2 5/16" over a 1" pad, Very slight cast-off for the right hand, 6 lbs. 6 oz., Very nice Deluxe Grade wood with a lot of feather, Checkered panels at the head of the stock, The original barrel blue is 84-86%, The original receiver blue is 90%, The wood finish is original at 80% and solid as a rock with scattered hunting and handling marks, The checkering remains at 90-92%, The bores are excellent plus and totally free of any pits anywhere, The gun is tight to the face, Here is a damn honest and original M-21 Deluxe Grade in 20 Bore with the modern thinking set of 28" barrels. Winchester offered the Deluxe Grade to be made to individual order to a customer's dimensions, the stock and forend of full fancy American walnut with fancy checkering and all working parts were "Hand-Smoothed".
