This is a true piece of American history — a U.S. military-accepted Model 12 likely used for guard duty or utility during WWII. 
Condition: Very good for an 83-year-old gun. Honest wear and patina on the blued finish with no heavy rust or pitting. Walnut stock and grooved forearm are solid with nice grain and light handling marks. Action cycles smoothly and locks up tight.
