Stock and forearm refinished. Few minor bumps on the barrels. Chambers show evidence of machining marks. Lovely colors.

ORVIS GUNSMITH REPORT 11/23/2021:

Barrels – The 29” barrels show consistent wear as to the age of originality. Several very minor bruises are apparent but should not affect overall use. The chambers are the original 2 ½” length but do show some sort of repair or remodeling with rings cut at the forward most end of the chambers. The barrels are tight to the face of the receiver and are quite capable of a long shooting life in the future.
Stock and Forearm – The rounded edges of the metal to wood joints are rounded indicating the refinishing of the wood.
Receiver, Barrels and Forearm – Are all marked with a numeral 1, indicating one of a pair. All the metal shows appropriate wear and finish for the age of the gun. A gold C is inlayed into the bow of the trigger guard.
