Description: 25? SxS chopper-lump barrels with matted Churchill rib, inlaid XXV in gold, choked modified & full. 14"pull from front trigger to checkered wood butt. 1 5/8" - 2 3/8" drop. Trace of cast-off. Figured European walnut stock with Anson-pushbutton-release splinter forend, straight English grip, classic point-pattern checkering, gold oval and teardrops. Slim, casehardened, Baker-patent, easy-opening sidelock action with automatic top tang safety, gold-line cocking indicators and double-beaded triggerguard. Fully engraved with fine scroll and with acanthus scroll borders. Birmingham nitro proofs for 2-3/4? chambers. Weight: 6lbs, 1oz. Built 1959. Fine condition, near new with only a hint of sharp edge wear in all metal finishes, possibly unfired. Excellent bores. Tight action.
