Scarce Antique Underhammer, .41 Cal.Pistol I.D.'d
Description: This is a very unusual underhammer pistol. It was thought at one time they were made in Anderson, Texas. One is pictured in Flayderman's Volume 9, page 423. Flaydermans number 7E-001. This pistol puts that theory to rest. It is marked J.O. Robson, Buffalo. That is James O. Robson circa 1850 in Buffalo, New York. It is approximately 44 caliber, 22 inches long with a 17 inch barrel. Other than the barrel length, it matches 7E-001 perfectly. The gun has a nice brown patina finish with oil finished flarre and grips. It is mechanically fine. If you collect underhammers you need this. US only - no International sales. Buyer pays $30.00 shipping. Three day inspection allowed if returned UNALTERED. Must be 21 years of age to purchase. Antique – no FFL required. If your state requires an FFL for antiques, you should call 251-510-5007 before buying. Any weapon you plan to shoot should be inspected by a competent gun smith before firing. Give us a call or e-mail us at jimconfederateordinance. SOLD Antique: Yes |
