Wold War Two Springfield M1 Garand Rifle
Description:
This Springfield's Barrel Date is 8-1945. The rifle is a veteran's take home. The Garand has not been rebuilt or in anyway altered from it's issue condition. All the parts have the correct drawing numbers for this serial number and date. The operating rod is also uncut. The barrel has no muzzle belling or flaring. This barrel is bright and clean. The stock has the correct Springfield markings and inspector code. The buttplate has the correct tools in the trap door. The original finish is intact with no rust, pitting or damage. The rifle shows more carry than shooting use. The sling is a correct woven cloth style dated 1944. To find an all original unaltered Garand is a real find! Most of the Garands offered today have some kind of Arsenal rework or after market rebuild. This rifle is in as issued condition! For the serious World War Two collector.
