Highly figured walnut stock with slender three-piece Deeley-release forend, the captive sections of which each retained by four engraved horn-bushed screws, black capped pistol grip and with chinstrap and classic point-pattern checkering. Concealed-release, hand-detachable sidelock with intercepting sears, cocking indicators, double underbites and double Kersten locks, automatic ejectors and manual top tang safety, finished in French grey and finely game scene engraved with scenes of a hawk taking a pheasant to the left and a fox flushing grouse amongst the cornstalks on the right, all surrounded with scroll.
