An original sealed British military ammunition crate containing 1,440 rounds of .303 British L Mark V blank ammunition. Packed by the Royal Ordnance Factory at Radway Green in Cheshire, England, this crate is dated August 1945 and remains preserved in its original military configuration. The surviving exterior labels identify the contents as “1440 CARTRIDGES BLANK .303 INCH L. MARK V” and display the Radway Green factory designation “RG” together with the August 1945 date code. The markings remain highly legible and provide a direct historical record of the crate’s original contents and wartime production.

These .303 British blank cartridges were manufactured for military training, maneuver exercises, ceremonial use, weapon familiarization, and blank-firing applications. Each cartridge contains a live primer and propellant charge but does not use a conventional metal projectile.
