"Elephant" by Commander David Enderby Blunt, R.N. (RETD.). 1933 MA first American edition 260 pp. Ill. One of the modern classic elephant hunting books that is and has always been sought after. Almost near fine copy in original tan cloth with elephant head printed on front cover.

I hunted with his son, Nicky Blunt, who was a fine mild-mannered professional hunter in Tanzania for many years. On safari near the Grumeti River, it was a pleasure to discuss his father's book as a timeless classic for ivory hunters and those facinated by how elephants were hunted during the golden years of safari hunting.
