SOLD This holster is made to fit the Colt And Smith & Wesson Model 1917 revolvers. This holster was made for the U.S. Postal Service. The Postal Service guarded mail transports on trains, trucks, airplanes and other areas that needed guarding. It is seldom that items related to firearms come up that belong to the Post Office Dept. This holster is in very fine condition with supple leather. This holster is dated 1947.
