All original and complete. The sword has a fine original blade with nice markings on it. Marked with an "EAGLE/N.P. AMES/SPRINGFIELD" on one side & "UNITED STATES/1835" on the other. The excellent blade is bright with very crisp edges throughout. The brass grip and cross guard are excellent and untouched. The guard is marked "ORD" on the underside. The scabbard is excellent throughout with no cracks or breaks in the leather. the brass fittings are very fine and untouched. The original white buffed leather frog and belt are excellent and untouched throughout as is the two piece brass interlocking "US" buckle.
