To be carried during one of his hunts (deer, wild boar. caribou, moose etc). The blade had to be capable to retrieve arrows deeply embedded in a tree branch, stump, or even in its trunk. When ordered for such purposes, the tip of the blade is reinforced and delivered as such; as it is in this model. Made from D2 steel stock, its blade is 7-1/8" from 5/16" stock and 1-1/2" wide, whit a double brass guard and matching butt cap. Handle is black micarta with deep grooves.
