The TRONCAY 2 requires a little more fingering at the time of opening, thus avoiding to pierce the viscera because of its engaging trajectory. With the same characteristics as seen on the model TRONCAY 1, it possesses the famous curved counter-cutting or false edge which is concave in its final shape, immortalized by Jim Bowie, more penetrating but more fragile than the lanceolate point as seen on the TRONCAY 1.
