The pistol consists of single piece walnut stock, iron fittings, and permanently attached ramrod on a swivel. The wood stock has slight wear and has both a JH cartouche and WAJ cartouche. The barrel is stamped on top U.S, JH, and P. The pistol has a bright finish on barrel and fittings with some patina on the lock plate.
