SOLD  SOLD  SOLD  This Colt Government Model 1911 pistol was produced in 1917. The pistol's serial number is C 94838. This pistol has the original 45 A.C.P. Commercial barrel. This bore is in bright clean condition with sharp lands showing some light use. The slide is in snug condition on the rails with no play. This pistol shows light use and wear. The original bluing would rate a 96% overall condition. The most wear is on the back grip below the grip safety. The original wood grips is in very nice condition with slight wear. The original magazine is a correct two tone high polish magazine with an unmarked floor plate. This magazine is in very fine lightly used condition. This War Time commercial pistol is in it's original condition, never having been messed with. These early commercial pistols that have not been altered or worn out are highly sought for today! Here is a great example of these fine early Colt Government Model 1911 pistols! This Colt deserves to be in a high end Colt collection!
