This fine Colt was produced in 1952. The pistol's serial number is 100596. This Colt has the early "Fat" barrel. These "Fat' barrels were produced on the standard 45 caliber blanks. The latter barrels were made with thinner barrels of their own design. This Colt is in almost new condition! There is a very faint mark on the bolt face and that is it! The bore is in minty condition. The original high polish bluing would rate a 99% condition. It has the original "Pony" grips. These grips have not shrunk with age. This Colt also has the correct style magazine intact. This magazine is in like new condition. This is a very stunning looking Colt! This Colt is certainly a high collector grade pistol for the serious collector.
