This Colt Commando was produced in 1942. The pistol's serial number is 6363. It has the standard 4 inch barrel chambered for the 38 Special. This barrel is in very fine condition showing hardly any use. The chambers are also in very fine condition. The action works smoothly with no issues. The crane locks up snug with no play. This Colt shows very little service use or being fired. The brown plastic grips are original to this Colt. The original war time finish would rate a 97% or better condition. This is a very fine original Colt commando revolver for the military collector! Having a low serial number also enhances this pistol!
