This example, manufactured in 1996, represents one of Kimber's early and highly regarded production runs.

Built on the proven Government-size 1911 platform, the 5-inch match-grade barrel and steel construction provide outstanding balance, accuracy, and recoil control. The crisp single-action trigger, extended beavertail grip safety, and skeletonized hammer make this pistol exceptionally comfortable to shoot while maintaining the classic feel enthusiasts expect from a full-size 1911.
