Mauser P.38 byf43 (Late War 1943) Nazi German WW2
Description: This is a late 1943-production, Mauser-made, "byf43" P.38 Pistol. This is one of the last pistols to have the eagle/135 proofs before the change over to the WaA135 proofs. From a P.38 collector standpoint, the gun is pretty desirable, even though it is one of the more common code/date combos. This pistol is entirely 135-proofed and is all-matching with a mint bore. This is a top-quality example of late 1943, Mauser P.38 production, which was equal to or better than anything being shipped out of the Walther factory at the time.
