Description: ANTIQUE U.S. MODEL 1836 ROBERT JOHNSON, MIDDLETOWN, CT. LOCK DATED 1840 CONVERTED TO PERCUSSION FROM FLINT AND USED AS A PRIMARY FIREARM IN MEXICAN- AMERICAN WAR AND EARLY CIVIL WAR. BRIGHT METAL SURFACES WITH PITTING FROM FLASH AROUND BOLSTER AND REAR PORTION OF BARREL. 8 1/2" BARREL WITH TYPICAL BORE PITTING. NIPPLE IS CLEAR AND LIKELY COULD BE FIRED IF WANTED.
