Professionally made Marchock musket of the Mass. Militia used during the King Phillip war of the lare 1600's. The overalal length is about 59+", and has a in the white as the original barrel of 44" with a muzzle smooth bore measurement of about .75 caliber true of English muskets of the 17th and 18th century. Original muskets of the 17th century don;t exist as the few that survived are in museums. The hardwood stock has simple line engraving like originals.This model has a captured trigger guard to keep the trigger from going off when carring.The action works good with the dragons head. This fine musket was test fired, and works well. Comes with a flared hardwood ram-rod.I have the formula for making your own fire rope, these cannot be easily found, so best to make your own reiable burn rope!When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
