Manufactured between 1904-1945, the Nambu dealt significantly less stopping power than its rivals, the M1911 and the Walther P38. This design has a wealth of history, as it served the Empire of Japan’s military for half a century. The Japanese Nambu Type 14 gained combat experience in 10 wars, ranging from the Russo-Japanese War to WWI/WWII and limited usage as recent as the Vietnam War, making this one of the more historically significant handguns ever produced.
