Holland & Holland, London. Pristine Mauser, “Take-Down” Action, .375 H&H magnum big game rifle ordered in 1954 and delivered to the original owner in Southern Rhodesia in 1955. Weight: 8 Lbs. 4oz. with original sling. Stock: 14 3/8” LOP with cheek piece on the right for a left-handed shooter. Superb 24 ½” “Hykro” steel barrel with 100% original finish, spare sights in original paper wrapping beneath pistol-grip cap, and mint bore. Also, blessedly, never scope mounted! This magnificent rifle was imported into Southern Rhodesia by my dear friend, Peter Panas, in 1955. He was, shortly thereafter, forced to evacuate the country and this magnificent rifle has remained unused since that time, with less than 50 rounds fired since new! Overall virtually mint condition throughout and comes with original H&H cleaning kit!!
