New York style period scroll engraving on the barrel, cylinder, frame and back strap with about 70% coverage. The entire revolver is in untouched natural condition showing the 147 years of age, in color and appearance. Manufactured from 1870 until 1874 with a total production of approximately 32,000 revolvers. This revolver is the Second Model variation of the number 3 American, and was manufactured in the last year of production, 1874.
