There is a huge difference between a restoration and a refinish and this gun is resored by Colt. R.L. Wilson confirms the Colt restoration in his Colt book as he describes the ampersand (&) that Colt put on the right side of the trigger guard signifying their work. The pictures show how nice this gun really is. The grips are not worn down and fit perectly. Every aspect of the revolver is as new, with the action timed and crisp as new.
