This military Colt Was Produced In 1911. The pistol's serial number is 48793. It has the 5 1/2 inch barrel that is United States Propery Marked. The wood grips are serial numbered to this pistol. These grips are also stamped with the government inspector. The wood grips are in very fine condition. The bore and chambers are in very fine to new condition. The high polish charcoal blue is stunning! The nitre blue trigger and hammer retain almost all of the blue finish. The niter blued screws also retain almost all of that stunning blue. This pistol is matched serial numbers on all of the parts. The action is crisp and very smooth showing very little use. This Colt has about 97% of the high polish blued finish remaining!
