Description: TR*88 This Gun is from Charles Schreiner 111 personal collection, he held TR*88 and TR*1 back for himself TR*88 A DELUXE CASED, ENGRAVED AND GOLD-INLAID TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER Charles Schreiner, III's personal gun A DELUXE CASED, ENGRAVED AND GOLD-INLAID TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER CHARLES SCHREINER, III'S PERSONAL GUN Serial no. 88TR, .45 caliber, circa 1963. 7 1/2 inch barrel with gold and fire-blued bands at breech and muzzle and extensive scroll-engraved coverage; signed by the engraved WEL, Weldon E. Lister. Silver-plated finish. Cylinder with scroll-engraved panels, the rear with gold and fire-blued bands. Scroll-engraved frame. Fire-blued cylinder pin, trigger and screws. Hammer inlaid on both sides with an engraved gold eagle's head. Backstrap engraved with scrollwork, borders and inscribed Texas Rangers; apron inlaid with a silver Texas star within an oak wreath.
