A Very nice Colt Python . It is in Good+ condition, At Some point in the 57 year life of this revolver it was sent to Germany. There are proof/import marks that tell a story. However those marks and the scratch around the cylinder from rotating the cylinder with a loose side case screw takes a 98% to a 90% from excellent condition to "VG" or "Good" it is still a gorgeous pistol and a bargain at $1800.00
some collectors like the proof marks, others don't . The gun functions perfectly and the the finish with the exception of the cylinder is excellent
