This Colt was produced in 1902. The pistol's serial number is 233989. It has the 4 3/4 inch barrel chambered to shoot the 44 W.C.F.  [44-40] cartridge. The bore and chambers are in fine condition with a decent bore. The action works very fine with no damaged cocks and a smooth trigger pull. The old refinish would rate a 85% condition. The barrel lettering is strong and sharp. The frame lettering is faint but readable. The cylinder base pin is the original pin with the hole in the center of the pin and end of pin. The screw heads are not burred or damaged. The wood grips are period style replacements. These grips fit the pistol very fine.
