1st Generation Colt Single Action .38-40
Description: This is a Pre-War (aka First Generation) Colt Single Action Army Revolver with a 5.5 inch barrel in .38-40 caliber. Serial number is 346145, manufactured in 1923. Overall condition is very good. Metal retains over 60% original finish with some case coloring on frame and blued barrel, trigger guard and back strap. No metal surface pitting and smooth throughout. The bore is bright and shiny with a very minor pitting, lands and grooves are sharp. The grips have no chips or cracks, showing only light honest wear. The action is crisp and mechanically perfect.
