I sent the gun to Alan Harton of Single Action Services, Houston, TX, in August of this year for a trigger and action job (Mr. Harton is a well known and highly respected gunsmith specializing in single action Colts). Best of all, it's a 4-digit, first year, 2nd generation Colt (S/N 4434SA). The stocks are well-fitted, one-piece walnut.
